My Suit Has Arrived

I received an awesome package this weekend that I was anxiously awaiting (seriously, I cant tell you how many times I checked this tracking number on FedEx website). I hurried home from the gym and tore that package open quicker than I have ever opened any other package.

As you may know I ordered my suit from Water Babies Bikini online. This is my first time ordering a suit and a friend told me she knows people who go through them. I must say I love it! The color is exactly what I was hoping for, the attachments I picked I love, and the size fits perfectly! The picture below does not do justice to how pretty the suit is, I must say I do love it! The cut that I ordered was perfect, and the sizes. My only complaint if I must find one is that the padding is much less than I thought and expected. When I spoke with them on the phone she said it was a lot of padding, I feel its less than a push up bra would offer. I am going to have to find something to supplement the padding as it is simple not enough. Other than that, everything with the suit is good!

Quest Bars

I LOVE, seriously LOVE QuestBar’s. My personal favorite, Chocolate Brownie. I will put it in the microwave for a few seconds (6-10). This allows it to get warm and soft, sometimes I add a small bit of all natural peanut butter. HEAVEN! This is one of the only protein bars I have ever accepted as a true nutrition bar, not simple a candy bar with protein. If you look at the ingredients you will notice they don’t have a TON of different crazy things, they even have protein isolate, also take note that protein IS the first and main ingredient, only 1g of sugar, the very LAST ingredient. I seriously love the taste, and I don’t have to feel bad about enjoying it, I do keep them as a treat however and by no means substitute them as a meal. I usually split my bar into thirds and enjoy a small bit each day. They have a ton of flavors, but for me taste wise and nutrition fact wise this is my pick. Only 1g of sugar and no sugar alcohols, a ton of fiber, 1g of sat fat.

Blog For Accountability

As I am in my 4th week of fitness and nutrition I decided to share my journey with you all. I hope that others can benefit from my adventure, learn a few things, and also help me learn and achieve success. For the past three years my fitness has been very on and off, I workout regularly for a max three months and then fade out. My nutrition has never been top-notch, but attempts have been made. I feel the most determined than I ever have, my nutrition is probably 85% on track right now, I need to get this closer to 95%. My current obstacles are that I have relied on my significant other to lead our workouts, as a result I am lacking gym knowledge that one would have if they had been leading these workouts themselves. Learning the names of certain workouts, ensuring I have the correct form, these are all things I am currently working towards getting on track.
